Biography

	Here's a little about me and why I designed this page (with the expert help of my hubby, Mike).  So, if you don't really care who I am, scroll down and read why I designed this page in the first place.
	Who am I?      My name is Jesse Petersen.  When I was still in high school my friend Stacey and I read a romance novel and I said, "Hey, I could do this!"  So, during my sophomore year in college, I did!  I chalked it up as an interesting experience and put the manuscript away.  Two years later, with some prodding from my husband and other friends, I pulled the manuscript out and started working on it again.  Now over a year and four and a half completed manuscripts later, I'm still feeling really good about writing romance.  I'm not published yet, a lot of people ask that, but I'm still happily working on it.  If you want to know more about me, check the Frequently Asked Questions page or email me!
	Why did I design this page?      When I finished my first book and began looking for publishers, I ran into difficulty.  There aren't a lot of good lists out there for romance publishers.  Finding manuscript submission guidelines can be just as tough.  It's scary enough to enter an industry without it being hard to maneuver, too.  I want this page to be fun because of the reviews and the sneak peaks at my work, but I also want it to be a resource for other people like me... people who want to get published.  As I learn more about this industry I will add more to this page, so come back from time to time to see my updates!
